Said W. Musa was born in San Ignacio, Cayo District, Belize on March 19,1944. He is a lawyer and politician, who served as Prime Minister of Belize from 1998 to 2003, and was re-elected for a second term from 2003 to 2008. Musa is the first Prime Minster to be re-elected after Belize achieved Independence in 1981.
