Paul Connaughton
Paul Connaughton Jr., born January 1982, is an Irish Fine Gael politician. Paul is from Mountbellew, County Galway, and was elected as a Teachta Dála for the Galway East constituency at the 2011 general election. He is married to Edel Connaughton.
Political career[edit]
Paul was previously a member of Galway County Council, for the Ballinasloe electoral area, between 2009 and 2011. He has a long association with Young Fine Gael, working also as a Youth Worker with Foróige.
Education[edit]
Paul qualified with a Marketing degree from GMIT (Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology), and also has a Certificate in Agriculture from Mountbellow Agricultural College, and a H. Dip in Marketing from NUIG (National University of Ireland, Galway).
