Marin Almăjanu
Marin Almăjanu was born on June 30, 1960 in Teleorman County, Romania. After numerous functions in Teleorman, he became vice-president of the Teleorman County Council from 2000 until 2004, when he became a deputy. Since 2000 he has been the president of PNL party in the same city.
Political career[edit]
Between 1984-1990 he was an economist at UJCC Teleorman, and between 1990-1995 was chief of Financial Control, at the same institution. From 1995 to 1997 he was assistant director at Financial Administration, Alexandria. From 1997-2000 he was CEO at General Directorate of Public Finance, Alexandria. From 1997 to 2000 he was the vice-president of PNL Teleorman party and in 2000 he became the president in the same party.
Education[edit]
In 1984 he graduated from the Faculty of Economy Science – Finance-Accounting at the Craiova’s University.
