Maria Beatriz Jurado Fernández de Córdoba was born on 3rd April 1983, in Córdoba, Spain. She is a Spanish politician, member of the Spanish Senate and member of the Popular Party (PP)

Political Career[edit]

In 2003, she joined New Generations of the Popular Party. In 2007 she was candidate number 19 of the Popular Party in the municipal elections in the city of Córdoba, and from June of that year, she became President of the Management Committee of the New Generations in Córdoba. In 2008, she was ranked as number 8 in the elections to the regional Parliament of Andalucía.

On July 4th, 2009 she was elected president of New Generations of PP in Andalucía and two years later, was elected as president of the organization nationwide. In the municipal elections of 2011, she was elected Councilor for the Youth Council of Córdoba and furthermore, in the national elections in November 2011, headed the Senate candidacy of the province of Córdoba for the Popular. She went on to win the seat.

In January 2012 she left the Youth Council of Córdoba and became Deputy Secretary of Organization and Spokesperson of the Popular Party in the province of Córdoba.

Education[edit]

She holds a Law degree from the University of Córdoba.
