Mai Al-Kaila
Biography[edit]
Dr. Mai Al-Kaila has been the Palestinian Ambassador to Chile for the past four years and is currently Ambassador to Italy. Born in Jerusalem, she studied medicine at Birzeit University and completed her studies in Spain and the United States. For 17 years, Ms. Al-Kaila worked with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) - the UN agency responsible for providing services to Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West bank and the Gaza Strip - in the women and child health program in the West Bank.
