Lord Howard of Rising
Lord Howard of Rising was born on the 22nd April 1941. He is a British Conservative Party politi-cian and, before the 2010 General Election, was an Opposition Whip and Shadow Minister.
Political career[edit]
Lord Howard of Rising is a member of the Conservative Party. Since 2003 he has been a councillor on King's Lynn and West Norfolk Council. Before the 2010 General Election, he was an Opposition Whip and Shadow Minister for Cabinet Office, for Treasury and for Culture, Media and Sport.
Notable works[edit]
On June 4, 2004, he was appointed as a Life Peer with the title Baron Howard of Risingzum.

He went to Eton College.
