Jožef Horvat

Jožef Horvat (born July 8, 1955) is a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the New Slovenia – Christian Democrats (Slovenian: Nova Slovenija – Krščanski demokrati, NSi).

Political Career[edit]

In 2004, he was first elected to the National Assembly as a Member of the New Slovenia - Christian Democrats' Party. In the mandate of 2004 - 2008, Horvat was a member of five working bodies, and in the second half of the term, he was the leader of the parliamentary group of NSi. The second mandate was entrusted to him by voters in 2011 on the first preliminary parliamentary elections in Slovenia.

Education[edit]

In 1981, Horvat graduated in physics the Faculty of Science and Technology in Ljubljana.
