Daniela Holzinger, born on October 21, 1987 in Vöcklabruck (Upper Austria), is an Austrian politician and a Member of Parliament for the SPÖ (Sozialdemokratische Partei Österreichs; Social Democratic Party of Austria) since 2013. Holzinger has been working as Assistant to the Management of the Social Democratic Trade Association Upper Austria since 2012.

Political career[edit]

Daniela Holzinger has been Board member of the Children's Friends in Gampern since 2009, and in 2011 she became Board member of the People's Aid in the district of Vöcklabruck. In 2009, she became a Member of the Municipal Council for the SPÖ in the Municipality Gampern. She has been a Member of the executive committee of the Young Generation (JG) in the SPÖ Upper Austria since 2011. Since 2012, she has been assisting the Managing Director of the Social Democratic Trade Association for Upper Austria. Holzinger is also the Deputy Chair of the local party SPÖ Gampern. In October 2013, she was sworn in as a Member of Parliament.

Education[edit]

Daniela Holzinger attended the elementary school in Gampern from 1994 to 1998 and from 1998 to 2002 the main school in Timelkam. In 2007, she graduated from the Business Academy in her hometown of Vöcklabruck. She then enrolled at the Paris University of Salzburg, where she studied Political Sciences and obtained her bachelor in 2011. After that, she enrolled at the Renner Institute where she took a course of "Strategic Moderation" (conclusion: Moderation - Public Relations - Public Participation - Political strategy work - consulting expertise) from 2011 to 2012.
