Cornelia Rundt

Cornelia Rundt, born April 16, 1953 in Mülheim an der Ruhr, is a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, and since February 19, 2013, Lower Saxon Minister of Social Affairs, Women, Family, Health and Migration in the cabinet of Stephan Weil.

Political Career[edit]

2013-2014 Lower Saxony Minister of Social Affairs, Women, Family, Health and Integration; 2014 Lower Saxony Minister for Social Affairs, Health and Equality; member of the Federal Council since 2013.

Education[edit]

After graduating from high school in 1972, Rundt studied Economics at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster and graduated in 1979 with a degree in Business Administration.
