Christie Morreale

Christiane Morreale was born on 14 June 1977 in Ougrée (Belgium). She is Community Senator in the Belgian Senate for the French-speaking Socialist Party (PS).

Political Career[edit]

She is Vice-President of the French-speaking Socialist Party from 2003 to 2011. Between 2006 and 2012, she was alderman in Esneux. After the local elections in 2012, she became first alderman of the city. Since 2014, she has held a seat in the Belgian Senate as Community Senator appointed by the Parliament of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels, and in the Walloon, and Federation Wallonia-Brussels Parliament.

Education[edit]

She graduated in criminology from the University of Liège.
