Andreas Marinos

Andreas Marinos (Greek: Ανδρέας Μαρίνος, born on 23 September 1963, in Ileia, Greece) is a Greek politician. He is a Member of the Hellenic Parliament in the Ileia Prefecture.

Political Career[edit]

He was first elected as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament with the political party of New Democracy in 2012 in the Ileia Prefecture.

In 2002 he was elected in the first place of the Ileia prefecture ballot as a Prefectural Council Member. His results were similar to the results of the next prefectural elections in 2006. In 2005 he was elected as a Member of the Committee of Culture and Sports and the Committee of Agricultural Development in the Ileia Self-Governing Prefecture. From 2006 to 2010 he served as a Member of the Committee of the New Generation and Sports of E.N.A.E. (the Greek Prefecture Union). In 2007 he was elected Secretary of the Ileia Prefectural Council, while in 2008 he was appointed by the Prefectural Council to serve as a Member of the Committee of Culture and Sports. In the regional elections he was elected in first place of his region ballot in the Prefectural Council. On 01-01-2011 he was elected as Member of the Economic Committee of the West Greece Region, while in June of the same year he was elected as a Member of the Committee of Development.
