Žan MahniÄ
Žan Mahnič (born January 12, 1990) is a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the Slovenian Democratic Party (Slovenian: Slovenska demokratska stranka, also known by the acronym SDS).
Political Career[edit]
He was elected to the National Assembly in July 2014. Mahnič was an active member of the SDS from the very beginning in 2008 when he joined it. In 2009, he was first elected to the Executive Board of the Slovenian Democratic Youth, where he performs the function of Vice-President from 2013 and he is also the in the Vice President of the Committee on Defence at the SDS Council of Experts. Since 2010, he is a member of the Municipal Council of Gorenja vas - Poljane.
Education[edit]
Mahnič is still studying at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, where he is currently completing undergraduate studies in Defense.
