Vladimir Konicek (born on 23th February 1964) is Czech politician. He has been member of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament of Czech Republic since 26. 10. 2013. He was elected on the slate of KSČM party.

Education

He graduated in study field "physics of solids" in the Faculty of Science on Masaryk University in Brno. After graduation in 1987 he became work in the state enterprise Mesit where he was working until 1993, when he began teaching at the Secondary and hotel school in Uherské Hradište. Because of this he completed his education in "physics teacher" field at the Faculty of Science on Masaryk University.

Political career

Vladimir Konicek has been Committee on Budgetary Control member since 4. 12. 2013, Electoral Committee member since 4. 12. 2013, Committee on Budgetary Control chairman since 5. 12. 2013 and Electoral Committee vice-chairman since 11. 12. 2013.

Mr. Konicek has been also a member of Podvybor pro legislativu a kontrolni systemy (czech name) since 10. 4. 2014 and member of Stala komise pro kontrolu pouziti odposlechu a zaznamu telekomunikacniho provozu, pouziti sledovani osob a veci a ruseni provozu elektronickych komunikaci (czech name) since 12. 12. 2013. He has been member of Political group Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia since 27. 10. 2013.
