Zdenek Bezecny

Zdenek Bezecny (born on 1th December 1971) is Czech historician, univerzity profesor and politician. He has been member of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament of Czech Republic since 26. 10. 2013. He was elected on the slate of TOP09 party.

Education

He graduated with a qualification from field of Czech Language and History on Faculty of Education at University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice in 1994. In 2002 he defended his doctoral thesis on the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. He has teached at the University of South Bohemia since 1994.

Political career

Zdenek Bezecny has been Committee on Security member since 4. 12. 2013 and Committee on Security vice-chairman since 22. 1. 2014. He has been member of (czech name) Podvybor pro kulturu since 27. 2. 2014 and Subcommittee on Youth and Sports since 27. 2. 2014. Mr. Bezecny has been also a member of Podvybor pro vedu a vysoke skoly(czech name) since 23. 1. 2014, member of Subcommittee for Heraldy and Vexillology since 23. 1. 2014, member of Podvybor pro ICT prumysl a e-Government(czech name) since 26. 2. 2014, vice-chairman of Subcommittee for Heraldy and Vexillology since 26. 2. 2014, member of Podvybor pro integrovany zachranny system (czech name) since 26. 3. 2014 and member of Podvybor pro vezenstvi (czech name) 26. 3. 2014. He has been member of Permanent Commission on Oversight over the work of the Security Information Service since 12. 12. 2013. He has been member of Political group TOP 09 a Starostové since 31. 10. 2013.
