Yves Evrard is a Belgian politician, born in Bastogne on the 19th of March 1969. He is a member of the Mouvement réformateur (MR). He is an agronomical engineer by profession and senator since 2014.

Political career[edit]

Yves Everard started his political career in 2000 when he became councillor of Neufchâteau. In 2006 he was elected mayor of the municipality. He held the office until 2012. For two years he was also president of the police zone Centre Ardenne (2010-2012). From 2012 to 2014 he was a provin-cial councillor of the Province of Luxembourg. In the Walloon 2014 elections Evrard was elected to the Walloon Parliament and the Parliament of the French Community. He was also sent to the Bel-gian Senate by his party to occupy a seat as a state senator.


Education[edit]

Everard graduated as an agronomical engineer.
