Vanessa Matz was born on August 12th 1973 in Liège (Belgium). She is currently a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Walloon Christian Democratic Party (CDH).
Political Career
Vanessa Matz is active on a local level as well as nationally. She has been a councillor in Aywaille since 1994, and alderman from 1997 to 2012. From 2004 to 2006, she was political secretary of the CDH group in the Walloon Parliament. Vanessa Matz is also a former senator in the period 2008-2014. After national elections on 25 May 2014, she got elected as a member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives for the Walloon Christian Democratic Party (CDH).
Education
She graduated in law at the University of Liège.
