When 18 year-old Joseph Silberg is to join the Israeli Defense Forces, the routine tests show that his DNA is different to that of his family. The hospital where he was born conducts an investigation and discovers that the day Joseph was born he was taken to a shelter after a bombing attack and switched by mistake with another baby: Yacine Al Bezaaz. Initially, the parents are reluctant to accept the situation, but the circumstances force them to reconsider their resistance and to understand the motivations of the ‘other’.
