Tariq Modood is the Founding Director of the Research Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship and plays a leading role in research into ethnic minorities in Britain. He is a Professor of Sociology, Politics and Public Policy at the University of Bristol and has held over 40 grants and consultancies in these fields.
