Suzana Lep Å imenko

Suzana Lep Šimenko (born October 30, 1979) is a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the Slovenian Democratic Party (Slovenian: Slovenska demokratska stranka, also known by the acronym SDS).

Political Career

She was elected to the National Assembly in 2014.

Professional Career

Suzana Lep Šimenko got her first full-time employment as an assistant for the field of organization policy, strategic management, planning and analysis at the Faculty of Economics and Business Maribor. She continued her career in the economical spheres. First, she worked at the company MLM Storitve, d.o.o., where as head of business organization she was responsible for monitoring and introduction of a number of organizational changes in the company and restructuring of business processes.Later, she was employed at NKBM d.d. where she was also responsible for organization.

In 2012, she joined the Prime Minister’s Office of the as Economic Adviser, she was, inter alia, also a member of the interdepartmental coordination at the level of ministers and state secretaries to accelerate the absorption of EU funds and a member of the umbrella group for the preparation of Slovenia's Development Strategy 2014-2020. In the years 2012-2013 she was also a member of the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Public Legal Records and Related Services (AJPES) Council.

She is currently employed at Zavarovalnica Maribor d.d., again in working in the field of organization and procedures, where she implements and participates in the most demanding projects related to the optimization, simplification of the procedures and employee development.

Education

In 2002, she graduated in general management at the. Suzana Lep Šimenko is currently continuing scientific postgraduate studies in the field of organization's policy and strategic management.
