In 1990, he founded the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, a lobbying NGO for NATO membership and served as its President and CEO. He is the founder and spokesman of the Green Party of Bulgaria, and joined the parliament as deputy.  From 1996 to 1999, he served as Vice-Chairman of the Atlantic Treaty Association in Paris.

Solomon Isaac Passy was born on December 22, 1956. He is the former Foreign Minister of Bulgaria and was the Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2004.
