Seán Conlan, born 1975, is a Fine Gael politician, elected as a Teachta Dála for the Cavan-Monaghan constituency at the 2011 general election. Seán is a native of Ballybay, County Monaghan, and has lived there for most of his life.

Political career[edit]

Sean was elected to Ballybay Town Council in June 2009. He brings a fresh and dynamic approach to politics; his priorities are job creation and investment working with all relevant organisations to promote local industry, business, agriculture, education, and development of services at Monaghan and Cavan General Hospitals

Education[edit]

Seán was educated Ballybay N.S., St. Macartan’s College, Monaghan and graduated with a BA Honours degree in Economics from UCD. Seán is a practising solicitor, and he owns Conlan’s Bar on Main Street in Ballybay.
