About Sberbank Russia[edit]

Sberbank of Russia is the largest banking group in Russia and Eastern Europe, and holds the third position in the European rankings. The group is a shareholder-owned bank in partnership the Russian government, based in Moscow. The company is under permanent change and development, and it is Russia’s oldest banking group. It is nowadays the biggest receiver of deposits in Russia with the company serving more than half of the Russian population (over 110 million) and around 11 million people abroad.
