Roelof (Roel) Kuiper (born on April 5th, 1962 in Mariënberg) is a Dutch historian, philosopher, ideologue, politician and university professor.

Political Career[edit]

Kuiper has been a Christian Union member of the Dutch Senate since June 12th, 2007. He has been the Senate group leader of the Christian Union since June 7th, 2011. He is a member of the Dutch Senate for the Christian Union (ChristenUnie), and is a professor of Reformational philosophy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Education[edit]

Roel Kuiper studied Philosophy at the Free University of Amsterdam from 1994 until 1998 and History at the Free University of Amsterdam from 1981 to 1986.
