Patrik Kuncar

Patrik Kuncar was born on February the 27th, 1973 in Uherske Hradiste. He is a Czech politician and surveyor, and from January 2014 senator for Zlin district. Since November 2010 he has been the Mayor of Uhersky Brod, and has been a town councillor for Uhersky brod and a member of the KDU-CSL since 2006.

Education

He studied at the Technical University in Brno, but did not complete his studies. He achieved a Bachelor's degree at a later point from the University of Jan Amos Komensky in Prague. He has worked as an engineer and surveyor.

Political career

Patrik Kuncar has been politically active since 2006, when he joined the Christian-Democratic party (KDU-CSL) and was elected in the municipal election of representatives of Uhersky Brod. He was re-elected in the subsequent elections in 2010, after which he also became the mayor of the city.
