Patricia Glass was born on the 14th of February 1957 in Esh Winning, England. She is a British Labour Party politician, who has been the Member of Parliament for North West Durham since 2010.

Political Career

Before being elected as MP, Pat was an Adviser to the Government of Education and works with Councils across the Yorkshire and Humber region to improve their education service. Pat Glass was elected to Parliament at the General Election in May 2010, she made her maiden speech to the commons on 16th June in 2010. She is a member of the Education Select Commitee. She is a member of the GMB union.
