Ozzy Osbourne

John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne was born on December 3, 1948. He is an English heavy metal vocalist, songwriter, and television personality. Eccentric English musician Ozzy Osbourne fronted the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Osbourne left Black Sabbath in 1979 and has since had a successful solo career. Osbourne's longevity and success have earned him the informal title of "Godfather of Heavy Metal".
