Norbert Barthle

Norbert Barthle (born February 1, 1952) is a german politician and a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).

Political Career[edit]

Barthle joined the CDU in 1990 and has been a member of the Bundestag since 1998. He has been the District Chairman of the CDU district association Ostalb since 2001. He currently is the Spokesman of the CDU / CSU Parliamentary Group and the Chairman of the Trust Board in accordance with § 10a of the Federal Budget Code. He equally is a Member of the federal funding body in accordance with § 3 para. 1 of the Federal Debt Banking Act.

Education[edit]

Barthle obtained his Abitur in 1972. He studied German literature, sports science and philosophy in Tübingen.
