He was born in 1936 and got his diploma of Higher Studies of Public Law and Diploma of the Paris Institute of Political Studies. He is advocate at the Paris Court of Appeal.
 
Nicolas Alfonsi has started working as a politician in Corsica, where he was appointed mayor of the city of Piana. He has also been a member of the European Parliament.
