Nicholas Henry Bourne, Baron Bourne of Aberystwyth was born on 1st January 1952. He is a Welsh Conservative politician.

Political career

From 1999 to 2011 he was the leader of the Welsh Conservatives in the National Assembly of Wales. Then, between 2007 and 2011 he was the leader of the Opposition of the National Assembly of Wales. He joined the Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee in 2014 and now he is a Lord in Waiting (HM Household) (Whip).

Education

He attended the King Edward VI School in Chelmsford and then studied at the University of Wales, in Aberystwyth. Afterwards, he studied at Trinity College, Cambridge. He was a professor of Law.
