Miroslav Číž is a Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. He stood for a seat as part of the SMER-SD. He was born on 11. 2. 1954.

Political career[edit]

He is the vice-chairman of Klub SMER–SD, chairman of the Mandate and Immunity Committee, member of the Committee on Culture and Media and substitute member of the Committee on European Affairs. Since 2002 he is has been a member of the National Council of Slovak Republic. In 2006 he also became the Vice-President of the National Council. In 2010 he unsuccessfully attempted to become the President of the Naitonal Council.

Education[edit]

He graduated at the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
