Milan Jurković was born on 8 March 1959 in Otočac, Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska demokratska zajednica) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) during its seventh term.

Political Career

Jurković is a chairperson of HDZ Otočac and the prefect of the Licko-senjska County. His term of office in the Croatian Parliament was suspended on 22 December 2011; his substitute Ana Lovrin commenced performing MP duties on the same date. The suspension of the his term of office ceased on 6 June 2013. He is a member of the Judiciary Committee and a member of the Elections, Appointments and Administration Committee.

Education

Jurković graduated from the Faculty of Forestry in Zagreb, having majored in Wood Technology.
