Biography

Micheal Lederer is a professor of Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurial Management at the Furtwangen University (HFU) in Germany. As Vice President for International Affairs at the university, he also spearheads several international cooperation and partnership initiatives. Before joining the University, Dr. Lederer worked with companies such as Volkswagen, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and General Motors, where he occupied various management positions in finance, consulting and startegy. He has published many reports and articles on SME management, and he participates in international research projects.

Education

Lederer has studied business and economics at universitites in Germany, the United States of America and Switzerland. He was awarded a Doctorate of Economics by the University of St. Gallen.
