Matjaž Nemec (born April 10, 1980) is one of the two Vice-Presidents of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia and a member of the Social Democrats (Slovenian: Socialni demokrati, SD).

Political Career[edit]

He was elected to the Slovenian National Assembly in 2014. From 2008 till 2011, he worked as a private secretary to the Prime Minister; in 2012 he took over the position of an analyst in the Government Communication Office. In the years 2012-2014, he held the position of the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Slovenia.

Education[edit]

In 2013, Nemec graduated at the IBS International Business School Ljubljana.
