María Isabel Flores Fernández, born 13 June 1950 in Tudela (Navarra), is a Spanish senator representing the Spanish province of Córdoba in the 10th Congress of Deputies. Flores Fernández is a member of the Spanish Socialist Worker’s Party, Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE).

Political Career[edit]

Flores Fernández has been a senator since the 6th Legislature. Nowadays in the Spanish Senate she is a spokeswoman in the Commission of Equality and a deputy speaker in the Joint Committee for the Study of Drug Problem. Finally, she is a member of the Committee on Education and Sport and in the Joint Commission of the Committees of Interior, Education and Sport, and Industry, Energy and Tourism.
