Marijan Škvarić was born on 11 December 1962 in Lepoglava, Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian People's Party - Liberal Democrats (HNS; Croatian: Hrvatska Narodna Stranka - Liberalni Demokrati) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) during its seventh term.

Political Career[edit]

Škvarić entered the seventh term of the Croatian Parliament on 8 March as Anđelko Topolovec's substitute. He is a member of the Committee on Regional Development and European Union Funds, a member of the Interparliamentary Co-operation Committee, a member of the Local and Regional Self-government Committee, a member of the Credentials and Privileges Commission, a member of the Executive Committee of the National Group to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and a member of the Delegation to the Central European Iniciative Parliamentary Dimension.

Education[edit]

Škvarić graduated from the Faculty of Forestry, having majored in Wood Products Engineering.
