María Gador Óngil Cores

Maria Gador Óngil Cores is a Spanish politician and member of the People’s Party. She was born in Madrid on March 26th, 1956. She is currently serving as a Senator at the Senate of Spain.

Political Career

María Gador Óngil Cores started her political career in 1995 by serving as a councillor at the city council of Torrelodones, a position that she held until 1999. In 1995, she also entered the Regional Parliament of the Community of Madrid, serving as a Deputy and being named Education Deputy Spokeswoman. She was re-elected in 1999, 2003, 2008 and 2011. This is current term is her second term at the Senate. She already served as a Senator during the IX Term.
