Luís António Pita Ameixa was born on October 10th, 1960. He currently practices as a Lawyer and Portuguese Politician.

Political Career[edit]

He has been deputy at the Portuguese National Assembly since 2005. Elected by Beja through the Socialist Party, he has also played other important political roles as President of Ferreira do Alentejo City Hall and as Member of the City´s Assembly. Furthermore, he was also President of Beja District Assembly and member of the National Political Commission of the Socialist Party. Currently, he is an effective member of the Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Liberties and Guaranties Commission.

Education[edit]

Luís Pita Ameixa is a law graduate.
