Angela Lueger began her political career as a district councillor in Floridsdorf (1993-2000). From July 2004 to November 2005 she was a Member of the Austrian Council and then a Deputy in the Vienna Parliament and Municipal Council. On 8th January 2008, she succeeded Kurt Eder as a Member of the Austrian Parliament. In the current legislative period, Lueger is a member of the committees on Buildings, Equality and the Environment.

Angela Lueger, born on October 17th, 1965 in Vienna, is an Austrian politician and Member of Parliament for the SPÖ (Sozialdemokratische Partei Österreichs; Social Democratic Party of Austria). She is a former Federal Councillor.

Political career[edit]

From July 2004 to November 2005 she was a Member of the Austrian Council and then a Deputy in the Vienna Parliament and Municipal Council. On 8th January 2008, she succeeded Kurt Eder as a Member of the Austrian Parliament. In the current legislative period, Lueger is a member of the committees on Buildings, Equality and the Environment.
