Education

Jean-Claude Junker was born in 1954 in Rédange-sur-Attert. After obtaining his baccalaureate at the Lycée Michel Rodange in Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker registered with the Faculty of Law of the University of Strasbourg (France) in 1975 and obtained a Master's degree in Law in 1979.

History

He was admitted to the Bar of Luxembourg in February 1980, even if afterwards he didn't continue working as a lawyer. Politically he has been an active member of the Christian Social Party since 1974, he gained the recognition of the party's leadership thanks to his oratory skills and his analytical skills and was entrusted with the function of Parliamentary Secretary of the party in October 1979.
