Juan Pablo Durán Sánchez was born in Cordoba on August 26, 1964. He is a member of the Spanish Senate for the Socialist party (PSOE).


Since 1996, he has been a member of the PSOE party, in which he was the Secretariat of Directors from 2000-2004, as well as the Secretariat of the Mandate (2004-2008). Today, besides being the Secretary General of the Socialist Party in Cordoba, he is also a part of the Federal Committee of the PSOE. Sánchez is the spokesman for the Municipal Socialist Group in the city of Córdoba after topping the list of the PSOE in the municipal elections of 2011. In 2011, he was elected to the Senate for the Socialist party.

Education Career

Sánchez studied at the Salesian School and attended the IES Lopez Neira. His personality and the way he understands politics led him to seek direct contact with people.
