Josip Borić was born on 23 October 1972 in Rab, Croatia. He is a member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ; Croatian: Hrvatska demokratska zajednica) and is a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor).

Political Career

Borić's term of office began on 22 December 2011. He is a member of the Tourism Committee, a member of the Physical Planning and Construction Committee, a member of the Committee on Regional Development and European Union Funds, and a member of the Committee on Maritime Affairs, Transportation and Infrastructure.

Education

Borić completed the Teachers’ Training College in Rijeka - Primary School Teacher.
