José Manuel Mariscal Cifuentes is a Spanish politician and member of the United Left political coalition (IU). He was born in Madrid on March 31st, 1974. He is currently serving as a Senator in the Senate of Spain, representing the region of Andalusia. He has held this position since 2012, after being elected by the Parliament of Andalusia.

Political Career[edit]

José Manuel Mariscal Cifuentes has developed his political career mainly at the Parliament of Andalusia. He served as a regional deputy there from 2004 to 2008. He was re-elected in 2008 and held that position until 2012 when the Parliament elected him Senator.

Education[edit]

José Manuel Mariscal Cifuentes is an industrial engineer.
