Joanna Bobowska – (born on 17th April 1967 in Kraków, Poland) is a Polish journalist, an official of the local government, social activist and politician, a Member of the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska) and a member of the Polish Parliament (VII term).

Political Career[edit]

In 1996 she worked as a clerk in local government of the Myślenice municipalities. She was also a correspondent for "Dziennik Polski" (Polish Daily) in the Myślenice district and editor of periodicals of local chambers of commerce. She was also project coordinator at the Chamber of Commerce of the Raba River Basin. She is an activist of local NGOs, promoting and supporting economic activity.

She is a member of the Civic Platform and is Vice-President of this party in the district Myślenice. In the elections in 2011 she obtained a parliamentary seat, which was the fifth best result in the district.

Education[edit]

She graduated on Studies in Music Theory at the Academy of Music in Kraków.
