Jean Étienne Antoinette is a member of the Senate of France, elected on 2008 for the costituency of French Guiana. He is a member of the Socialist Group of Senate.

Biography and Political Career

Jean Etienne was born on 26th of February 1966 and, as profession, he is a tutor. In Guiana he has been president of the Administrative Council, mayor of Kourou and regional councellor of Guiana.

  • Vice president of the commission on culture, education and communication
  • Member of the senatioral delegatioon of territorial collectivities and decentralization.
  • Member of the senatioral delegation overseas
  • Member of the study board on forest, trash management, sportive practices
  • Municipal Councelor of Kourou
