Javier Casali was born in Pamplona, Spain, in 1967. He is a valued member of the international academic community.

Academic Career

Javier Casali has been teaching as a professor in the Agro-forestry Engineering Section since 1999. He has done research on soil erosion by water, and water quality in agricultural areas. He has published the results of these studies in seventeen publication in international journals and congress papers. Since 2002, he has been the head of the University Hydrology, Irrigation and Structural Analysis research group. Currently he works as Vice-President of International Relations and Cooperation.

Education

He graduated in agricultural engineering from Lleida Higher Technical School of Argicultural Engineers in 1992. In 1997 he received his doctorate from the Public University of Navarre in the Department of Projects and Rural Engineering.

Notable Work

He has also co-authored two academic books; one on the application of conceptual maps to university teaching, and the other on hydraulic practices.
