Igor Choma born on the 28th of January 28,1964 in Martin is a member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for the party Smer-SD and Mayor of Zilina.

Political career

Momentally is the member of Klub SMER–SD and the president of the Committee on Public Administration and Regional Development. From 2007 to 2010, he served as Representative of the Government for the construction process of road transport infrastructure in Slovakia. After the election to the National Council in 2010 was elected chairman of the Committee for Public Administration and regional Development. In 2010 he became the Mayor of Zilina.

Education

After graduating from the Faculty of Civil Engineering Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. In the period 1996-1999 he worked in Moscow as an agent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
