Heidi Alexander MP is a member of parliament for the constituency of Oldham East and Saddleworth, she is a member of the Labour Party and has been in office since 2010.

Biography

She grew up in Swindon, she was the first person in her family to go to university and it was there where her political views were shaped. She moved to London in 1999 and I have lived in Lewisham, with her husband Martin, since 2002. She has worked as a parliamentary researcher for Joan Ruddock MP, have run a national campaign for Clothes Aid and have been an unpaid Director of a number of companies, including the leading economic development company Greater London Enterprise.
