Harald Ebner


Harald Ebner was born on the 8th of July in 1964 and is a German politician as a member of Alliance ‘90/The Greens in the German Bundestag.

Political Career

After graduating from the University Hohenheim in the field of agricultural sciences in 1992, he first worked as a freelancer in Landscape Ecology. He later worked for the state conservation management of Baden-Württemberg. He has been a member of the independent Green List Kirchberg/Jagst (UGL) since 2002. From 1999 until 2004 he has been in the city council (UGL) of the city of Kirchberg/Jagst. Since 2008 he is the district chairman of the Alliance ‘90/The Greens Schwäbisch Hall. From 2009 until 2011 and from 2013 onwards he has been a member of the State Executive Committee of Alliance 90/The Greens in Baden-Württemberg.

He is a member of the German Parliamentary Society (DPG), the Conservation Federation of Germany (NABU), a member of the community of interest for healthy foods (IG FÜR), a member of the Federal Association of Professional Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (BVDL). Harald Ebner was originally elected to the Bundestag on May 25, 2011.

Education

Harald Ebner did his Abitur in Ebersbach / Fils in 1983. In 1984-1986 he did community service. From 1986 until 1992 he studied Agricultural Sciences at the University of Hohenheim.
