Hanke Slot Bruins

Hanke Slot Bruins has been a Christian Democrats Politician in the Dutch Parliament since 2009.

Political Career[edit]

Hanke Bruins Slot started her Political Career as a Student assistant at the Centre for Policy & Management (CBM) 1998-2000, she then held a position as a Project assistant Strategisch Gebiedsperspectief Vallei, School of Governance 2000-2001, (Senior) policy officer, then moving on to a variety of roles with the government including: Administrative Organisation Dept., Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations 2001-2005, Panzer Howitzer Gun Platoon Commander, 11th Regiment Horse Artillery Corps 2007-2009, Panzer Howitzer Detachment Commander, Battle Group 7, Tarin Kowt (Afghanistan) 2008, Acting field officer, attached to the director of Operations, Staff of Army Command (CLAS), Ministry of Defence 2009-2010 Staff officer Planning and Programming, CLAS and Ministry of Defence 2010

She studied Dutch Law: constitutional & administrative Law at Utrecht University 1996-2001, Law, administration and management, Utrecht University1997-2001. She then completed Post-academic officer training, Royal Military Academy (KMA) 2005-2007 and Specialist training Panzer Howitzer Gun Platoon Commander (Artillery) in 2007
