Starting in 2004, she was the Director of the Centre for Maritime and Oceanic Law (CDMO) of Law Faculty of Nantes till 2011. She assumed her current position in 2012. Professor Proutiere-Maulion’s research are focused on: French and European Fisheries Law, Maritime Labor Law, Seafarer’s Rights, and marine resources. She is the manager of the FEMMAR Project of the CDMO. It is focused and researches on gender and women’s working conditions in the maritime sector. Furthermore, she co-edited “Piracy in Comparative Perspectives: Problems, Strategies, and Law.” | |
